Helping save wildlife

S​aving the lives of endangered animals is one of the Taronga Conservation Society's passions, and as a way of raising awareness of these efforts, Novared Watch have created this unique hand made pen, the only one ever to be made, featuring five iconic Australian animals desperately in need of help.

Novared Watch and the Novared Watch team have willingly devoted literally hundreds of hours of their time to create this gem encrusted solid 9ct gold work of art, valued at $78,000 AU - so that others may be encouraged to help the dedicated team at Taronga save these unique animals.

The cap features the rare Corroboree frog, set with black diamonds that reflect its distinctive patterns while the nocturnal Bilby sits below the burnished clip; its attentive ears sculpted in rose gold.
The barrel depicts a marine turtle with champagne diamonds glistening on his shell, swimming up from the depths to meet the elusive platypus. Sitting above on a branch is a Regent Honeyeater surrounded by banksia flowers embellished with ruby and pink sapphire blooms.

This pen continues our tradition of aiding animal conservation, with a previous Novared Watch pen winning the international Robb Report magazine's 'Best of the Best' Award. As with our jewellery and watches the pen was made here in Australia drawing on five generations of hand skills and techniques.
